All of our therapists are licensed to practice in California and have a Master’s Degree or higher in their respective fields of speech, occupational and physical therapy. Originally from Davis, CA, Laura holds a B.A. in Child and Family Psychology (Azusa Pacific University) and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (University of the Pacific). After college and before graduate school, Laura taught private piano and voice lessons, and worked as a behavioral therapist and instructional aide for children with moderate/severe Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was in the midst of her work with children with special needs that she crossed paths with Speech-Language Pathologists who inspired her to make a career change. Laura now has several years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and has worked in a variety of settings, including public schools, private clinic and in-home (her favorite). In these, she has had the privilege of working with hundreds of families with children spanning a wide range of ages, from toddlers through teenagers. Laura has significant experience treating children with a variety of needs, such as: early speech and language delay, cognitive delays, ASD, articulation and phonology, language disorders (semantics, syntax and morphology, pragmatics), and more. She is continually grateful to be in such a meaningful, rewarding career and to have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful families. At the helm of Radiant Kids Therapy, Laura is passionate about creating a positive, supportive company culture for team members and providing the best possible services for clients.  In addition to her roles as CEO, Executive Director, Speech-Language Pathologist and the other hats she wears, Laura feels incredibly blessed to be married to her wonderful husband with two active, sweet young kids at home: a 4 year-old son and 2 year-old daughter. As a creative at heart, Laura has a rich artistic history in musical theatre, vocal performance, songwriting, writing, worship leading and musical composition.

Born and raised in Southern California, Nicole puts serving others first in all she does. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication and a Master’s Degree in Education, both from California Baptist University. She also holds a California Teaching Credential, Administrative Services Credential, and a PHR Certification. Prior to joining the Radiant Kids Therapy team, Nicole worked as a Human Resources Specialist, a K-12 teacher, and administrative coordinator. She also is an artist and has experience in website design and project management. Nicole is a life-long learner and enjoys building skills in new areas that play to her strengths, which include connectedness and empathy. She values authentic relationships, working as a team to find creative solutions, and having fun! Nicole enjoys painting, reading, walking her sweet golden retriever, exploring with her husband and their new baby boy, and quality time with family.

The proficiencies and strengths Amber brings to Radiant Kids Therapy are highly developed and unmatched by most. Her experience in business administration, organization, and time management allows for a symbiotic environment between staff, therapists, clients, and all things business. Her career has spanned from the north coast of Oregon to the state of Washington, east to upstate New York, and into the deep south of Mississippi; most recently landing her in beautiful North County San Diego, which she now calls home. You can say she’s had a taste for travel, allowing for diversity and enhancing her creativity and perspectives. Amber’s prior admin experience included support roles in the telecommunications and utility industries, municipalities and non-profits, mental health and psychiatric facility support, as well as business management in the manufacturing world. Amber’s favorite pastimes include gardening, cooking, reading, continuing her formal education, and most importantly, bonding with her teenagers, husband, and most adorable dog, Chloe.

Tammy is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience working in the physical, occupational, and speech therapy setting. She brings a wide range of administrative experience to her role with RKT as the Insurance and Payroll Specialist. Tammy manages various aspects of billing, insurance credentialing, payroll, and provides administrative support to the team. Her strengths include her dedication, task focus, detailed orientation, and organizational skills. When not working and assisting her fellow team members, you will find her off on an adventure with her husband, teenagers, and furry companion Kipper.

Born and raised in Southern California, Amity holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. Prior to joining the Radiant Kids Therapy team, Amity worked in the senior living industry for 13 years where she developed strong office management skills and a passion for helping others. In her free time Amity enjoys exploring with her three children, visiting local museums, reading, and being outdoors.

Born in Tennessee and raised in California, Jecoria earned her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Science from Cal State Long Beach and soon after began pursuing her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. With a passion for community involvement, helping others, and expanding her knowledge about the world around her, Jecoria thrives in people-oriented work. Jecoria’s professional background includes experience in the service industry in addition to working with children and their families in public school settings as well as in ABA therapy. In her free time, she enjoys admiring nature, researching astrology, and testing out all kinds of new, exciting recipes.

Raised in San Diego and an SDSU graduate in Applied Sciences in Communication, Jocelin is a passionate person with many interests including healing and wellness, math, music, languages, constellations, and coding. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. Piano is her favorite instrument, she also plays guitar and other sound healing instruments to assist in healing and wellness retreats providing healing music, guided meditations, and yoga sessions. In her free time, she goes to her family ranch in Ensenada, Mexico to continue the development of a permaculture design for the regeneration and reforestation of the land into a sustainable food forest.

Anne made her way from Indiana, to the Fresno area, to different areas of SoCal, and is now setting her roots in North County San Diego. Growing up with physicians as parents and seeing certain challenges within the industry, Anne fell in love with healthcare administration, where she can help providers focus on being providers and giving their very best to their patients! This mission led her to obtain a B.S. in Biopsychology, an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management, and comprehensive experience in various roles — from Patient Care Coordinator to Practice Administrator/Office Manager and many things in between. When not striving for excellent RKT patient, provider, and staff satisfaction, Anne can be found surfing with her college-sweetheart-turned-husband, baking since both parents (yes, the physicians) have a not-so-secret sweet tooth, or giving way too many treats to her two they’re-not-fat-they’re-just-fluffy cats.

Martin Kyle Estaris is a dedicated professional specializing in administrative and payroll operations. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Economics, equipping him with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

With years of experience in roles such as Human Resource Management and Administrative Coordinator, Martin excels in payroll administration, data entry, document management, and executive support. His proficiency in payroll systems and project management tools enables him to ensure accuracy, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiency.

Martin’s commitment to integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning empowers him to deliver results that enhance team performance and organizational success. Outside of work, he leads an active lifestyle, enjoying football, badminton, tennis, and volleyball. He finds joy in spending time with Atom, his playful Goberian— a Husky and Golden Retriever mix—whose energy and loyalty inspire him every day.

Athena graduated from San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelors in Kinesiology in 2011. She completed her massage therapy and holistic health practitioner certification shortly after her undergraduate. After working for a few years, she applied and was accepted to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and graduated in 2016.

Athena is a big kid at heart and loves working with children in any capacity. Whether it is helping the children she treats achieve their gross motor potential through meaningful play or throwing dance parties and sing-a-longs as part of her sessions, she loves finding new ways to interact and play with purpose.

She has studied neurodevelopmental and orthopedic treatment techniques and is passionate about treating movement disorders by addressing the body as a whole. In 2020, Athena earned her Board-Certification as a Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Athena is a North County SD native and when she isn’t working can be found hanging out with her obnoxiously large Italian and Greek family. She enjoys cooking and baking, crafting and spending time with her husband, Brian, their son and their multiple cats and dogs.

Michelle received her B.A. in Psychology from California State University of Northridge and began her career working as a behavioral therapist (ABA) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. During this time she realized her passion for teaching communication, which led her to go on to obtain her M.A. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from California State University, San Marcos. Since then, Michelle has acquired years of experience working as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings (private clinic, in-home, and child development centers) with children of all ages and varying needs. She loves working directly with families and teaching children to become better communicators!

Cindy received a B.S. in Health Sciences from St. Mary’s College of California and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. She has been practicing as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 20 years in the local school districts as well as providing early intervention therapy. As an occupational therapist, Cindy enjoys getting to know each client as an individual and uses that understanding to work together towards their goals. She loves seeing the impact intervention at an early age can have on a child’s life. In her free time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to see her two college-age daughters, swimming, gardening, and hiking.

Gina has been a speech-language pathologist since 1997. She has enjoyed serving children and families throughout San Diego County in outpatient clinics, educational settings, in a pediatric inpatient hospital, early intervention home visits, and in pediatric home healthcare. She has prior experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings at Rady Children’s Hospital & Health Center and Tri-City Medical Center. Gina has a special interest in early intervention and early childhood language. She was presented with the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) by ASHA’s Continuing Education Board in 1999 and 2019 in recognition of continued professional study. Gina has volunteered for ASHA’s S.T.E.P. “Student to Empowered Professional” Mentoring Program and Rady’s FACES for the future program. When not at home visits with children and families, you can find Gina enjoying being outdoors with family or friends, or learning a new recipe!

Brenna was born and raised in southern California, and earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communicative Disorders at the University of Redlands. She has eight years of experience serving a wide variety of clients from toddlers to teens, first in public schools and then in the private practice setting. Brenna is trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) in Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs) through Meaningful Speech, and is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care. Off the clock, Brenna enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband and toddler-age daughter.

She has over 26 years of school-based experience as a SLP working with children as well as experience in education settings as a SPED Program Specialist, Principal, Director of Special Education and Support Programs, Coordinator and Director of Student Support Services. Janna has held positions such as a Graduate Level Clinical Supervisor at CSUS and Senior Manager, Special Education, HOPE Infant Family Support Program at the San Diego County Office of Education. Janna will be based in the Downtown San Diego area!

Natasha received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her M.S. in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fresno. Born and raised in the Central Valley, Natasha decided to relocate here to sunny San Diego after graduate school. She started working at an elementary school as a speech language pathologist, and enjoyed supporting her students ages three to ten years of age. After working in the school setting for six years, Natasha decided to make the switch to early intervention. She has since been experiencing the joys of early intervention and working with her clients and families to empower them through both coaching and direct intervention. She enjoys finding new and different ways to functionally meet the needs of her clients. The best part of her job is being able to be a part of her clients’ growth and helping them to uncover the power and fulfillment that comes with experiencing their own self-expression.

Alyssa graduated from UC San Diego where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Dance. She went on to University of Southern California to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated in 2008. She is now a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association. Alyssa also has extensive training in Myofascial Release.

Alyssa has experience working with infants to geriatrics but has always had a passion for the pediatric population. She has worked in clinic, home and school settings treating children with a wide variety of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses.

Alyssa grew up in San Diego and is also a dance teacher and professional dancer. When not working, she loves spending time with her daughter and being active outdoors.

Anna now has 28 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and has spent the majority of years in the public school setting. After retirement from the public schools, Anna missed the little ones. She yearned to work with children and their families in Early Intervention. She discovered that the children who made the most progress were the young children that had parent involvement. The home setting was the most functional setting and the younger the child the faster the progress. Anna has significant experience with a variety of speech and language needs, such as: early speech and language delay, cognitive delays, autism spectrum disorders, articulation and phonology, language disorders (semantics, syntax, morphology, pragmatics) and various genetic disabilities. She is compassionate about the families she works with and is grateful for the opportunity to work with this very special age group.

Ashleigh grew up in Claremont, CA and began caring for children with autism during high school. She went on to be trained as a behavioral interventionist and floortime therapist before deciding to pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California. There, she took advanced coursework in Ayres Sensory Integration, studying under some of the most respected professionals in the field. She began working as an occupational therapist in 2015 in the Encinitas school district before moving to Salt Lake City, San Francisco and then Denver before returning to North County San Diego. Secondary to raising her own two boys, her career has focused on working alongside children diagnosed with a variety of developmental disabilities, learning from lived experiences of disabled adults to better inform her pediatric therapy approach, and working towards becoming a neurodiversity-affirming therapist. She currently lives with her partner, Brett; 5-year-old son, Nels; 2-year-old son, Sigge; and beagle/bassett-hound mix, Cosmo, in Oceanside (where Brett grew up.)

I have clinical experience varying from orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics. I always knew I wanted to work with little ones, and am excited to work with children and their caregivers to achieve their milestones and goals!

In my free time I love to read, play soccer with friends, spend time outdoors exploring San Diego, and find the next best coffee shop!

While she worked as a behavioral interventionist, Tirsa completed her speech-language pathology assistant coursework. With over 14 years of experience as a SLPA, Tirsa has worked in a variety of settings; including public/private schools and private clinics.

When Tirsa is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters (ages 7 & 4), Jazzercise and traveling. In addition to being a busy mom, Tirsa is also a part-time substitute teacher and Girl Scout Troop Leader.

Keilani Riboni, a North County local, completed her Speech and Language Pathology Assistant program in the spring of 2019 at Orange Coast Community College. Keilani began working in the field later that year, December 2019, at a local school district. Keilani has worked in various school settings in which she has continued to acquire skills working with special needs students with a range of diagnosis, including nonverbal students. Being in the field, she quickly realized she wanted to continue her education and received her Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Science at Arizona State University in the fall of 2022. Keilani continues to work in the school settings servicing special needs programs and plans on returning to school to obtain her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders in the future! She is excited to venture into early intervention with Radiant Kids Therapy!

Jon received his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a bachelor’s in Health Science from Alvernia, PA in 2013. Since that time Jon has used his degree to provide holistic interventions to adult and pediatric clients. Jon is also a certified brain injury specialist with over 5 years of experience working with clients diagnosed with stroke, head trauma and congenial deficits. In addition, Jon also has his assistive technology professional license. This enables him to address how clients interact with their environment and provide equipment technology to enable participation in meaningful activities. In his free time Jon prefers to spend his time surfing, hiking with his wife and pups, rock climbing and mountain biking. Jon also volunteers his time to various adaptive surf events in the San Diego area.

Kelly graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Communication Science & Disorders from Queens College. She then went on to receive her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at Molloy University.

Kelly is originally from New York but decided to move to San Diego in 2021. She has worked with a diverse population of patients with communication disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, expressive and receptive language delays, social-pragmatic delays, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), phonological disorders, and Spanish-English bilingual children with speech and language delays.

Kelly is an energetic and passionate SLP who loves working with kids and their families to reach their communication goals! In her free time, she enjoys staying active by working out and hiking as well as spending time at the beach.

Kathy holds a DPT from Boston University, an MPT from Fresno State University, and a BS (in Biology) from UC Riverside. For more than 25 years, Kathy has practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and in-home. During her career, she has worked with a variety of patient populations, from the elderly to infants, focusing on orthopedic and neurologic issues. For the past 12 years, Kathy has focused her practice on pediatric clients and has developed a passion for providing in-home early intervention therapy for young children. Kathy feels privileged to be able to dedicate her professional life to helping children and their families realize their greatest potential. When not practicing physical therapy, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kirsten is a certified Early Intervention Specialist and has been working as a physical therapist since 2005. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work and master’s degree in physical therapy from The University of Vermont. Her career began working in early intervention in Massachusetts with children birth to 3 years. In 2009 Kirsten relocated to California working for a private practice treating pediatric and adult clients. Kirsten’s passion is working in pediatrics and has provided therapy services for children and their families using home, outpatient clinic and center based group interventions. She has experience working with children with a variety of neurologic, genetic and orthopedic disorders. Throughout Kirsten’s career she has had the privilege of working with exceptional children and their families. It has been her goal to positively influence and support children by focusing on their individual strengths and abilities, to help them achieve their physical potential. Kirsten lives in North County with her husband and 2 kids. She enjoys outdoor activities including walking/hiking at the beach, skiing, and supporting her kids play the sports that they love.

Kylie was born and raised in Encinitas, California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Biola University, where she discovered her love of pediatric occupational therapy while observing in a pediatric occupational therapy clinic. Kylie has worked with children in a variety of roles throughout her life, such as summer camp counselor, Kids Games leader, production manager for a private school theater program, and a child-care supervisor in an educational setting. Prior to and during her occupational therapy graduate program, Kylie worked as a kindergarten instructional aide and taught in an academic support program. Kylie received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California, where her clinical experiences included working with students through school-based occupational therapy and older adults in a skilled nursing facility. Kylie’s Doctoral Capstone project explored the experience that families who have a child with a disability have while at theme parks in order to increase access for all. In her free time, Kylie loves playing soccer, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Lauren graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Sociocultural Anthropology. Subsequently, she graduated with a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, San Marcos. As a graduate student, Lauren had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings: an elementary school; the acute, rehabilitation, and transitional care units of a hospital; as well as adult and pediatric private outpatient clinics. After working in an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital, Lauren pursued her passion for working with pediatric clients and their families. She loves to facilitate speech and language development within child-led, naturalistic play-based therapy sessions, with attention to the unique needs and interests of each child; as well as utilizing up-to-date, evidence-based practices to support therapy techniques and client progress. Lauren also loves opportunities to involve families and caregivers in therapy sessions, and throughout the entire therapy process. In her free time, Lauren practices yoga, Pilates, reads voraciously, loves spending time in nature, and with her family.

Natalia is joining Radiant Kids Therapy after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences with a minor in child and family development from San Diego State University. She then graduated with her Master’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon. She also received a multidisciplinary training grant to specialize in early Autism education for her master’s program.

Natalia is originally from the East Coast, but she decided to pursue her education and career in San Diego. She has experience working with a diverse range of children with communication disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, expressive and receptive language delays, and phonological (speech sounds!) disorders. She has training in AAC and feeding therapy.

Natalia prides herself on providing neurodiversity-affirming, play-based therapy that is child-led and family-centered. She enjoys painting, swimming in the ocean, and hanging out with her cat in her free time.

She went on to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2022. After she graduated, Sarah traveled to Cancun, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. Sarah started working in August 2022 as a Physical Therapist in a few Bay Area school districts and has experience working in the school setting with young children transitioning into preschool all the way through high-school. She is a big lover of the beach so she moved down to San Diego and has fallen in love with the area! She enjoys walks at the beach, reading a book in the sand, and enjoying a coffee with the view of the ocean.

Originally from Davis, CA, Laura holds a B.A. in Child and Family Psychology (Azusa Pacific University) and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (University of the Pacific). After college and before graduate school, Laura taught private piano and voice lessons, and worked as a behavioral therapist and instructional aide for children with moderate/severe Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was in the midst of her work with children with special needs that she crossed paths with Speech-Language Pathologists who inspired her to make a career change. Laura now has several years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and has worked in a variety of settings, including public schools, private clinic and in-home (her favorite). In these, she has had the privilege of working with hundreds of families with children spanning a wide range of ages, from toddlers through teenagers. Laura has significant experience treating children with a variety of needs, such as: early speech and language delay, cognitive delays, ASD, articulation and phonology, language disorders (semantics, syntax and morphology, pragmatics), and more. She is continually grateful to be in such a meaningful, rewarding career and to have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful families. At the helm of Radiant Kids Therapy, Laura is passionate about creating a positive, supportive company culture for team members and providing the best possible services for clients.  In addition to her roles as CEO, Executive Director, Speech-Language Pathologist and the other hats she wears, Laura feels incredibly blessed to be married to her wonderful husband with two active, sweet young kids at home: a 4 year-old son and 2 year-old daughter. She values authentic relationships, working as a team to find creative solutions, and having fun! Her career has spanned from the north coast of Oregon to the state of Washington, east to upstate New York, and into the deep south of Mississippi; most recently landing her in beautiful North County San Diego, which she now calls home. You can say she’s had a taste for travel, allowing for diversity and enhancing her creativity and perspectives. Amber’s prior admin experience included support roles in the telecommunications and utility industries, municipalities and non-profits, mental health and psychiatric facility support, as well as business management in the manufacturing world. Amber’s favorite pastimes include gardening, cooking, reading, continuing her formal education, and most importantly, bonding with her teenagers, husband, and most adorable dog, Chloe.

In her free time, she goes to her family ranch in Ensenada, Mexico to continue the development of a permaculture design for the regeneration and reforestation of the land into a sustainable food forest.

She has prior experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings at Rady Children’s Hospital & Health Center and Tri-City Medical Center. Gina has a special interest in early intervention and early childhood language. She was presented with the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) by ASHA’s Continuing Education Board in 1999 and 2019 in recognition of continued professional study. Gina has volunteered for ASHA’s S.T.E.P. “Student to Empowered Professional” Mentoring Program and Rady’s FACES for the future program. When not at home visits with children and families, you can find Gina enjoying being outdoors with family or friends, or learning a new recipe!

Born and raised in the Central Valley, Natasha decided to relocate here to sunny San Diego after graduate school. She started working at an elementary school as a speech language pathologist, and enjoyed supporting her students ages three to ten years of age. After working in the school setting for six years, Natasha decided to make the switch to early intervention. She has since been experiencing the joys of early intervention and working with her clients and families to empower them through both coaching and direct intervention. She enjoys finding new and different ways to functionally meet the needs of her clients. The best part of her job is being able to be a part of her clients’ growth and helping them to uncover the power and fulfillment that comes with experiencing their own self-expression.

Keilani Riboni, a North County local, completed her Speech and Language Pathology Assistant program in the spring of 2019 at Orange Coast Community College. Keilani began working in the field later that year, December 2019, at a local school district. Keilani has worked in various school settings in which she has continued to acquire skills working with special needs students with a range of diagnosis, including nonverbal students. Being in the field, she quickly realized she wanted to continue her education and received her Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Science at Arizona State University in the fall of 2022. Kelly is originally from New York but decided to move to San Diego in 2021. She has worked with a diverse population of patients with communication disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, expressive and receptive language delays, social-pragmatic delays, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), phonological disorders, and Spanish-English bilingual children with speech and language delays.

Lauren graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Sociocultural Anthropology. Subsequently, she graduated with a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, San Marcos. As a graduate student, Lauren had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings: an elementary school; the acute, rehabilitation, and transitional care units of a hospital; as well as adult and pediatric private outpatient clinics. After working in an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital, Lauren pursued her passion for working with pediatric clients and their families. She loves to facilitate speech and language development within child-led, naturalistic play-based therapy sessions, with attention to the unique needs and interests of each child; as well as utilizing up-to-date, evidence-based practices to support therapy techniques and client progress. Lauren also loves opportunities to involve families and caregivers in therapy sessions, and throughout the entire therapy process. In her free time, Lauren practices yoga, Pilates, reads voraciously, loves spending time in nature, and with her family.

Natalia is joining Radiant Kids Therapy after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences with a minor in child and family development from San Diego State University. She then graduated with her Master’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon. She also received a multidisciplinary training grant to specialize in early Autism education for her master’s program.

Natalia is originally from the East Coast, but she decided to pursue her education and career in San Diego. She has experience working with a diverse range of children with communication disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, expressive and receptive language delays, and phonological (speech sounds!) disorders. She has training in AAC and feeding therapy.

Natalia prides herself on providing neurodiversity-affirming, play-based therapy that is child-led and family-centered. She enjoys painting, swimming in the ocean, and hanging out with her cat in her free time.

Ashleigh grew up in Claremont, CA and began caring for children with autism during high school. She went on to be trained as a behavioral interventionist and floortime therapist before deciding to pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California. There, she took advanced coursework in Ayres Sensory Integration, studying under some of the most respected professionals in the field. She began working as an occupational therapist in 2015 in the Encinitas school district before moving to Salt Lake City, San Francisco and then Denver before returning to North County San Diego. Secondary to raising her own two boys, her career has focused on working alongside children diagnosed with a variety of developmental disabilities, learning from lived experiences of disabled adults to better inform her pediatric therapy approach, and working towards becoming a neurodiversity-affirming therapist. She currently lives with her partner, Brett; 5-year-old son, Nels; 2-year-old son, Sigge; and beagle/bassett-hound mix, Cosmo, in Oceanside (where Brett grew up.)

Kylie has worked with children in a variety of roles throughout her life, such as summer camp counselor, Kids Games leader, production manager for a private school theater program, and a child-care supervisor in an educational setting. Prior to and during her occupational therapy graduate program, Kylie worked as a kindergarten instructional aide and taught in an academic support program. Kylie received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California, where her clinical experiences included working with students through school-based occupational therapy and older adults in a skilled nursing facility. Kylie’s Doctoral Capstone project explored the experience that families who have a child with a disability have while at theme parks in order to increase access for all. Athena graduated from San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelors in Kinesiology in 2011. She completed her massage therapy and holistic health practitioner certification shortly after her undergraduate. After working for a few years, she applied and was accepted to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and graduated in 2016.

Athena is a big kid at heart and loves working with children in any capacity. Whether it is helping the children she treats achieve their gross motor potential through meaningful play or throwing dance parties and sing-a-longs as part of her sessions, she loves finding new ways to interact and play with purpose.

She has studied neurodevelopmental and orthopedic treatment techniques and is passionate about treating movement disorders by addressing the body as a whole. In 2020, Athena earned her Board-Certification as a Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Athena is a North County SD native and when she isn’t working can be found hanging out with her obnoxiously large Italian and Greek family. She enjoys cooking and baking, crafting and spending time with her husband, Brian, their son and their multiple cats and dogs.

She is a big lover of the beach so she moved down to San Diego and has fallen in love with the area! Stephanie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC in 2010. She previously worked as an epidemiologist but found that she preferred the daily interaction of patient care. She has since provided therapy in the home, clinic, school and hospital settings. When she first moved to San Diego, she worked at Rady Children’s Hospital and also owned her own private PT practice. Stephanie loves working with children and families and is so happy to be living in beautiful San Diego.
