Hattie
Occupational Therapist
Hattie received her doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Her capstone project was focused on increasing access to early intervention services in underserved communities abroad. This led to her developing an early intervention program in Belize through a non-profit called The Inspiration Center, where she continues to volunteer. Working with families to provide routines-based, culturally responsive, and play-centered support is the career of her dreams and she is especially passionate about using a sensory processing lens to support children’s participation in activities. Hattie loves to travel, having been to over 25 countries, and is bilingual. She has a golden retriever named Honey Bear and they spend lots of time together outdoors at the beach, doing yoga, or hiking.
