Natasha M.
Occupational Therapist
Natasha received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, San Marcos. Natasha was born and raised in Carlsbad and found her love for working with children with special needs in high school. She became a preschool teacher for 6 years, to learn how to enhance her relationship and interaction with young children. During the course of her education, she also received an associate degree in Early Intervention from Palomar College, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in business administration. During her OT program, she had the opportunity for a level II fieldwork in outpatient pediatrics and hippotherapy, which is the use of equine movement to enhance therapeutic interventions. This fieldwork allowed her to embrace using non-traditional methods during intervention and using alternative materials to enhance progress. Natasha loves working with children and their families and feels that the families learn from her just as much as she learns from them.
