Lorena

Occupational Therapist

Lorena received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from San Diego State University before getting her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2016. Before finding her career in occupational therapy, Lorena worked as a caregiver in an assisted living facility with adults with disabilities. She has five years of experience working as an occupational therapist in the school, clinic, and home settings with children and adults. She current specializes in the school setting working with children with Autism, ADHD, genetic disorders, intellectual disabilities, and developmental delay. She has taken many courses in self-regulation, fine motor skills, and executive functioning. Lorena is fluent in Spanish. When she is not working as an OT, she enjoys cooking, reading, and playing board games.
