Speech-Language Pathologist

Lacey joins us from Atlanta, Georgia. She is an Alabama native and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from The University of Alabama in Speech Language Pathology, where she also performed as a Track and Field Athlete for 4 years. Lacey has experience working in the public school setting, outpatient multidisciplinary clinic, and now in-home early intervention. She loves working with children of all ages in order to help them achieve functional communication. She has a love for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and has been trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to feeding. She has clinical experience with but not limited to articulation and phonological delays, pediatric dysphagia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the deaf and hard of hearing community (DHH), apraxia and mixed receptive/expressive language delays. What Lacey loves most about being a speech therapist is helping children and their families achieve those small victories on a week to week basis that eventually turn into large victories. In her free time, you can find her enjoying the beautiful weather of San Diego, hiking, running or spending time at the beach with her two dogs.
