Jisel is originally from the Bay Area and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University & her BA from Occidental College in Kinesiology & Spanish. She has always enjoyed working with kids since high school in a variety of settings and was really drawn to pediatrics while studying in school. She enjoys working with families to make therapy fun for patients in order to maximize function and reach milestones. Due to her husband being in the USCG and constantly moving every few years, she has primarily worked in outpatient orthopedics working with a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics. She is excited to return to the pediatrics setting and officially make San Diego her home. She is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation & is also fluent in Spanish. In her free time, Jisel enjoys exploring San Diego with her husband and 2 daughters, baking, hiking, and cheering on her Bay Area teams (Go Warriors & Raiders!)
