Co-Lead Speech-Language Pathologist

Cristin obtained her B.S. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Eastern Illinois University and her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University. After graduation, she moved to Chicago and began her career working with the birth to three population through the Early Intervention Program in Illinois as well as working with adults in skilled nursing and assisted-living settings. After two years and one Chicago Cubs World Series win later, she moved to San Diego where she continued to serve both children birth-three years old and adults in her new community. While Cristin very much enjoys working with adults, the greatest joy of her career is working with young children and their parents. She is passionate about providing evidence-based and proven interventions to her clients and their families. She has strong clinical experience and training in early childhood development, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), articulation disorders, phonological disorders, apraxia, speech and language delay, cognitive delay, early childhood stuttering, parent coaching and training, and more. She has completed Kaufman-SLP training for Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and is McNeill Dysphagia Treatment Program (MDTP) Certified.
