Speech-Language Pathologist

Ashley completed both her B.A and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!). There, she fell in love with working with families and fostering language development in young children. She went on to spend 4 years working at Yale New Haven Hospital Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Department, where she was able to work one on one with children and their families in the clinic environment. She has experience working with early language development, stuttering, speech sound disorders (including articulation, phonological disorders, as well as childhood apraxia of speech), voice disorders, paradoxical vocal fold dysfunction, and pediatric feeding disorders. Ashley moved to San Diego in 2022, where she has continued doing what she loves: supporting young children through play-based, family-centered therapy. When she’s not working with families, she can be found running, doing yoga, and enjoying the beautiful weather with her husband and two dogs.
