Our process connects you with a speech therapist based on your child’s needs and your location. Our therapists travel throughout the San Diego region including North County, South Bay, San Diego, and East County.

Thorough Speech Evaluation to Create a Plan
The first session is our chance to get to know you and your child. During this session, we’ll dive into your concerns for your child. We’ll complete both formal and informal assessments to understand the reasons behind your child’s challenges. From there, we will come up with a plan together to help your child improve.
You can prepare for this session by identifying your top concerns and gathering any information, such as medical history or previous therapy notes (if applicable). A typical evaluation lasts about 1-2 hours and caregivers are an important part of the process.
Once the evaluation is completed, the therapist compiles the information into a report. From there, the therapist develops a treatment plan and discusses the evaluation findings and suggested course of action with you, making sure your concerns are addressed.
High Impact Speech Therapy Treatment Sessions
Every session is unique to the child and family. We come to your home (or your child’s school if you prefer) on a weekly basis to provide play-centered speech therapy sessions which are specially designed based on your child’s goals. More than just convenience, our in-home model makes it easier for us to practice effectively and get skill carryover in an environment that is familiar and comfortable for your child.
The mission of speech therapy sessions is two-fold: promote skills for your child and equip you as the caregiver (the latter is particularly true for younger children). A significant part of our treatment approach includes coaching and parent education so you are clear about what we are working on and how to build skills with your child between sessions. Our play-based approach, rooted in genuine connection, means significant progress towards your child’s goals with sessions you both look forward to each week.
Many of our client’s parents tell us how excited their child is on their speech therapy day each week: they can’t wait to see the therapist they’ve connected with!
Don’t let location limit your access to the right professional! Telehealth provides a great option for families outside of our travel range.

“Laura was my daughter’s speech therapist for just over 1 year, and the whole experience was incredible. Not only did my daughter’s speech improve but my daughter also loved every session. From my end, scheduling was flexible and Laura was always respectful of my time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in a somewhat challenging time in my daughter’s life.”
HEIDI G. (PARENT, VIA YELP)
“Miss Ericca is a 5-star Speech Therapist in the way she brought our 2.5-year-old son to communicate by learning and using new words and vocabulary. Miss Ericca genuinely cared for our son and managed to build a great relationship with both my son and my wife, all in such a short time period. The results are amazing. We highly recommend Radiant Speech Therapy and Miss Ericca in particular. We are very grateful for their assistance.”
MAJID S. (PARENT, VIA YELP)
In the last year and a half, our toddler son has seen a few Speech Therapists, and no one has come close to Scott’s level of expertise and well-crafted teaching strategies. My husband and I are thrilled to see such incredible progress in our son’s speech in such a short time. We’ve noticed a great deal of improvement in our son’s articulation and are better able to understand him. Even non-verbal communication skills such as facial expressions, body language, and putting together words in a sentence have improved.
Scott knew exactly which areas of weakness our son had as he did a comprehensive assessment and developed a customized treatment plan that met his needs. He expanded our son’s vocabulary by using books, toys, games, and other materials, including playful activities. Scott also took the time to educate my husband and me on how to help our son best, which empowered us as a family and built confidence in our teaching skills.”
